Meet the Founder

Headshot of a young female founder

Hi I’m Carina— home organizer, daughter of aging parents, and founder of Hygge Home Help.

This work is personal to me. I started this business after seeing how overwhelmed my own family felt during a major move and estate cleanout. It made me realize how few services truly support families through these transitions—not just logistically, but emotionally, too.

Now, I bring both my professional organizing experience and a whole lot of heart to every home we help.

Hygge Home Help was built with one thing in mind: making tough transitions feel a little easier.

I know that homes carry stories—and that letting go isn’t just about stuff. It’s about memories, identity, and big life shifts. That’s why I approach every project with deep empathy, practical skill, and a little Scandinavian simplicity.

What “Hygge” Means to Me

Hygge (pronounced hoo-gah) is a Scandinavian word that loosely means cozy contentment—but to me, it’s more than that. It’s about creating space that feels safe, warm, and lived-in.

That’s our goal: to help you and your loved ones feel more at ease in whatever’s next.
